Improving the safety of all road users is a responsibility that each road user should embrace. On Road safety in one of Australia’s largest truck fleets is underpinned by preventative maintenance. At AHGRL we are developing the next generation of skilled workers within our heavy vehicle workshops located in our depots across Australia. AHG RL recognises the opportunity to build a lasting legacy by inspiring future talent and developing their capability.
Our apprenticeship program seeks to engage young people via tailored technical education, training and work experience. As part of development of Apprentices, AHG RL have engaged with key partners MIGAS and Ai Group, who source and employ program participants, and TAFE, the Registered Training Provider who delivers the training to our Heavy Vehicle Apprentices.
Our latest recruits have been deployed across our network at Direk (Kaylan Patniotis), Morningside (Zac Buerckner), Prestons (Isaac John & Luke Alexandrou) and Ormeau (Quinton Saward).
Investing in the future is key and creating the opportunity for careers to grow and deliver superior safety outcomes is at the forefront of everything we do.
